Bradley in Newton Abbott is approximately 25 minutes from Sandays. Bradley is a fascinating medieval manor house set in a green haven of riverside meadows and woodland, only 5 mins from the centre of town. The National Trust draw attention to Art Nouveau textiles and pre-Raphaelite drawings.
The public have free access to 70 acres of grounds. The house is a delightful place still lived in and administered by by members of the family and staffed by enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. During the summer look out for picnic events such as a Shakespear play in the sheltered garden close to the house.
