1785 Craft Markets in Shaldon

You don’t really need an excuse to go to Shaldon; we were there just yesterday evening enjoying a lovely meal at The Clipper (whilst enjoying the views from their balcony) and having a stroll around. It is an easy trip from Sandays and while there we noticed a sign for the 1785 Wednesdays held during the summer months 10 -4.

Named “1785” after the period Georgian houses that circle The Green, there is apparently also early evening entertainment for the children including maypole dancing in July, magician Hat McKool in August, followed by a one act play, with audience participation, continuing the saga of Zebediah Hook.
