The triathlon event was bigger than ever this year with a Standard Distance as well as a Sprint entry. The Standard Distance is double that of the Sprint in each of the 3 aspects. It is more or less lock-down on Warren Road and we have a ringside seat at Sandays as all those very heroic people go rushing by. While I was cooking breakfasts David kindly ventured out into the mist to take some photos of the start, what he could see of it!! Turned into a lovely day later on but it was quite eerie for the swim.
