A rather grey day on Dartmoor today was lifted by thousands of bluebells! Completely unexpected (it is May 26th so perhaps a little late?) and was an amazing sight. On a walk of around 6 miles the bluebells were more or less a constant presence, sometimes stretching as far as the eye could see. The intensity of colour in places was almost unreal.
