This amazing Art Installation created by Luke Jerram is in Exeter Cathedral during February. A scale model, this artwork is 1.8 million times smaller than the earth but is an impressive sight swaying slightly suspended in the centre of the cathedral. Along with music, lighting, astronaut conversations and plenty of other information this is a fascinating piece of art. Entitled “Gaia” which in Greek mythology is the personification of the earth.
The cathedral has other interactive and thought provoking displays around water, earth, fire and air in the chapels and of course the cathedral itself never fails to move and impress.
