It is always fun to take the ferry from Starcross over to Exmouth and back and enjoy some time over on the other side of the Exe Estuary. Very easy from Sandays and lots of different possibilities when you arrive at Exmouth. I chose to to head over the recreation ground and onto the Exe Estuary trail to Lympstone where I enjoyed the views and a lovely coffee & pastry before re-tracing my steps. The hedgerows are beautiful at the moment, full of foxgloves, hollyhocks, wild roses, honeysuckle, and a multitude of other plants. Such a pleasure!
