A mostly mild start to 2017 in Dawlish Warren. Had a walk up to the point yesterday in weak wintery sunshine, great numbers of birds around at the moment of course. Noticed how green the fields looked around Cockwood and Starcross. We have had a few lovely sunrises and in Sanday’s garden there are lots of shoots and the early flowers like primroses. Some nice reflections too, see pic. There are more people around than usual at this time of year due to the start of the beach management scheme.
