The Last Weekend of September

The last weekend of September has been wonderful. Lots of visitors still here at Sandays and in the area generally and wonderful sunshine and blue skies. Great weather for the Dawlish Triathlon on Sunday morning, and for the coastal path walking being undertaken by some of our current intrepid guests. Also perfect for the open-air harvest festival service on Cofton Green – now that was a leap of faith!

We did the Stuart Line Jurassic coast cruise during the afternoon and enjoyed the clear views along the length of the coast and the amazing stacks at Ladram Bay. As we returned to the Exe Estuary we found it was a hive of activity with boats & watersports, what a sight!
