The river turned yellow in Dawlish on Thursday (7th August) as the annual duck race got underway. Organised by the local Rotary group this ends a day of stalls and activities on the Lawn that was blessed with another warm & sunny day.
It has to be said that the ducks were a little unruly this year with many trying to strike off upstream in the direction of the breeze much to the dismay of the ticket holders! Great fun.
