Despite far too much rain, and today a rather blustery cold wind, there are signs of Spring everywhere now. Lots of blossom, thousands of mini-daffs, crocus, violets and much more besides! It is a very welcome sight.
Cornwall declares the first day of Spring when magnolia trees in 6 of the great gardens there each have 50 blooms: that happened on 16th February!
I think we we have some way to go here but certainly everything is waking up and we are hoping for a mild run into the Easter holidays.
