I often see white (mute) swans on the Exe, sometimes vast numbers around Exeter or much closer to the mouth of the estuary around Powderham. Today I saw flock at the mouth of the Teign, close to the shore at Shaldon. Lovely sight, unfazed by people and dogs on the beach and obviously busily feeding.
