The brand new Teignmouth Pavilions is open for business. Although the building looks rather like a large box from the outside, we enjoyed the lovely long bar area overlooking the sea and went to a good ceilidh in the hall. There seems to be a full programme of events coming up and as we often go to Teignmouth from Sandays no doubt we will be there again before long. The tourist information office has been absorbed into this new building too so they will be dealing with a lot of enquiries. The offices upstairs also have splendid views and there is some nice artwork around including these mosaics on the ground floor.
