Have enjoyed the Warren Crocus & Peacock butterflies at the Warren today. It is Friday 11th April and it has been a stunning spring day here at Dawlish Warren, warm & and sunny all day long. So a good day to look for the tiny and often elusive Warren Crocus. Was delighted to find lots of these beautiful little flowers clearly visible among the grass, spread open to catch the sun.
Much easier to spot though were the huge, bright peacock butterflies, two of them doing a dance around me as I waited for a good photo moment! Worth waiting I think.
